Rome ruins

The ruins of Rome are concentrated mainly in the Coliseum and Roman Forum area. The Coliseum is of course the most well-known ruin of Rome. Built almost 2000 years ago, it is an awe-inspiring piece of architecture, despite it being partially collapsed due to an earthquake in the 21st century. It housed grand events such as gladiatorial games, mock sea battles, and executions, all of which the emperors would often attend. The Roman Forum, near the Capitoline and Palatine Hills, is a set of ruins of Rome near the Coliseum. The center of ancient Rome, they include ruins of markets, shops, temples, political buildings, houses, and even gyms. The ruins of Rome are truly a magnificent sight to behold.
